The Hunters and the Hunted (R)

Benjamin: *he quickly bandages Jake up, trying to stop the bleeding* probably thought it was too dangerous to remove it. Though Jake did a good job, if he'll survive *he looks down at Jake*

Jake: *looks like death but after about five minuets the bleeding slows to nearly a stop as Jake's body starts healing itself properly. Jake rouses slightly and motions to be helped to the bed before blacking out again. It will likely take a few days more before he can walk let alone hunt or take care of himself, but he seems to be healing fast enough to survive. When Jake makes it to the bed he stirs again and weakly reaches for Ben.*

Benjamin: *he sits beside him on the bed*

Jake: Th..thank you... *Pulls Ben down and kisses his cheek lightly before blacking out again.*

Benjamin: *he kisses him back before laying back down on the floor* I hope he's going to be alright. *he rolls over to face Jake* that blasted arrow. Maybe I shouldn't have shot him. But then he was going to kill me, though he might not have. I didn't have to shoot him, but then again, . . .

((Once Bret and Jack Marrow finish their evening then morning will come so everyone can begin a new day))

Jack stares at Bret, shrugging.
"It's not the wurst."
He takes a bite of his burger before suddenly slamming his fist on the table and speaking in an upset tone.
"Dang it wrong food."

Bret: Huh? whats wrong?

"I made a pun with the wrong food. There's no hot dogs here!" Jack looks upset with himself, angrily taking a bite from his over sauced burger.

Bret: oh well I didn't understand it anyway... so it makes no difference to me. I'm starting to miss my lake... *shudders and the woman he inhabits currently drips water from her hair.* I should go... can I meet you in the morning somewhere?

"Maybe. I might end up being dead tired tomorrow," Jack said, his left eye going out then relighting.

Bret: *shrugs* I'll be at my lake or at the river where we met. See you laters *floats away*

*Morning

((ok that its morning?))

Kai wakes up, his stomach growling. His leaves his den, scratching at the dirt as he looks for something to eat.

Jack wakes up on a bench.

Bret: *near mer in her lake or river*

Tania: *sleeping in*

Jake: *Wakes up groggily and weakly sits up. He doesn't want to wake ben so he slides out of bed onto the floor and starts weakly trying to crawl to the bathroom.*

Lilly: *wakes up*

Eenhoorn: *lands and trots along in the forest towards a place he has not seen for many years. A place where he will find the knowledge needed to shift into a form he had abandoned long ago.*

Kai sighs, knowing that after the fire last night it will be more difficult to find food around here. He licks his chest fur, hoping that he won't have any bruises when he turns human. He starts to grow, turning human aside from his tails. He grumbles and tries shoving his tails in his pants to hide them.

((will eenhoorn ever be his friend again?))

Darius: *runs into the woods and climbs a tree. When he sits on a steady branch, he looks at a nearby cabin.*

(( he is, Kai just wants to be left alone for awhile. ))
Kai manages to keep his tails down, and starts walking to the town.

Jake: *closes the bathroom door and pulls himself up and leans against the wall pulling down his boxers to urinate.*

Darius: *looking around the cabin and searching through the rooms he finds an archer sleeping on the floor by the bed. Darius locks the archer in the room. Darius sees his target leaning against the wall while using the bathroom.* Times like this I wished I was somewhere else

Jake: *starts to turn around and sees darius.* What the! *Tries to grab his boxers and almost falls over in shock before recognizing the man. His eyes widen and he collapses back against the wall sliding down his boxers mostly pulled up.* Y..you... *his eyes wide and his face pales.*

Kai trudged into the human village, picking up a handful of leaves, making them look like money.

Darius: *pulls out his scythe and raises it up and makes a clean strike to take his head off*

Jake: No! wait! please! *tries to drag himself away.*

Darius: *walks up a bit and tries to strike his victims head again with his scythe*

Jake: *ducks and rolls away.* BEN!

Kai enters a shop, buying himself a scarf and some food. He put on the scarf and quickly leaves the shop, hoping that the illusion will stay until he leaves town.

MERAMING: *Meech rolled over to her side during the night* Meech? How d you feel?

MEECH: Meech! Thank you for healing me!

MERAMING: Oh Meech! *wraps him in a bear hug* I was so scared, Meech! You're my best friend! I would do anything for you! Do you want to go to the surface?

MEECH: *Jumps up and down in excitement*

MERAMING: *EXCITED* Let's go!

Bret: *floats along the surface*

Lilly: *is awake*

Kai stops, suddenly looking angry.
"You know what? No, I'm not just going to take it like a kit."
He goes back into the shop and buys up all their fireworks and matches, as well as a gas can. He leaves the shop with renewed vigor, heading toward his den.

Benjamin: *he jerks awake* Jake!!! *he rushes at the bathroom door, crashing and breaking it in on the man inside* go! *he says to Jake huddled in the corner. taking the stranger in a great bear hug he lunges them through the opposite wall, thankful that the cabin is run down and shabby. Quickly he backs up, nocking an arrow to his bow and immediately firing and nocks another*

Tril: *he opens his eyes. he's slept all night with his head resting on his chest* good morning, Lilly. did you sleep well?

Korlith: *starts to stir*

Aisha: *is making breakfast*

Kai fills the gas can and leaves town, heading for his den.

Lilly: *nods and hugs him.* Good morning!

Jake: *scrambles away as best he can. He crawls away not worrying about getting his boxers back up. He collapses by the bed curling up his boxers a few feet away in the bathroom.*

Darius: *get hits with one arrow in his shoulder and stares at the archer with malice.*

MERAMING: *shifts to human form and starts to wander through the forest, coincidentally, towards Ben and Jake*

Bret: *follows her*

MERAMING: *feels something following her, but does not react, she picks up her pace and slips her hand into one of the many hidden pockets in the seams of her dress*

Jack appears next to the lake with a fishing pole.

Tril: Would you like to go to breakfast?

Benjamin: go away *he fires the arrow, this time aiming at his heart*

Aisha: *puts food on the table and sits*

Korlith: *wakes up*

Darius: Not until I get my kill *He dodges the arrow and throws his scythe at the archer*

MERAMING: *abruptly turns around and claps her hands together, a thick, sea green cloud explodes around her and shrouds the area in fog, she vacates the area and takes roost in a tree, several feet away, dagger at the ready* Meech, inspect the area.

Jack starts fishing in the lake.

Benjamin: *ducks, catching the scythe and throwing it back* you shall not have your kill *he fires three more arrows,backs up, and fires three more*

((Maybe the fog reaches the river?))

Bret: *giggles and chases after her leaving a trail for jack*

Lilly: yah. *gets up and grab tril's arm dragging him into the kitchen.*

MERAMING: *Waits for Bret to run past her tree and she silently drops behind him* A ghost? *In a loud voice* IDENTIFY YOURSELF FIEND, LEST YOU WISH TO MEET MY SOULEDGE.

Darius: *catches his scythe and cuts the three arrows and takes another three arrows on his right forearm as a means to defend himself and charges at the archer with his scythe*

Jack sees the fog roll it.
"Boy, I guess I better FOGet about fishing here."
Jack laughs to himself as he reels in his line.

Tril: *follows her to the kitchen and sits down*

Korlith: *he sits up and looks around. He gets off the table and walks toward the kitchen*

Aisha: Good morning. *she smiles*

Benjamin: *he fires another arrow, this time its poisoned, before putting his bow to his back and pulls his long knifes, he quickly slashes at him*

Darius: *breaks the arrow with his scythe and slashes the archer's shoulder with his scythe. And then he hits the wall behind the archer.*
